Jerome Onguéné is a French defender who plays for FC Red Bull Salzburg and was born in Cameroon on 22nd December 1997. The centre-back began his career at FC Sochaux and is a product of their youth system. Capped at various youth levels by France, he was part of the Under-19 squad that won the 2016 European Championships. Heavily linked with a move to England he was spotted at Norwich City’s ground before the end of the 2016 summer transfer window, but it failed to materialise.
