Joel Ward is an English right-back who plays for Crystal Palace. Born on October 29, 1989, Ward began his career at hometown club Portsmouth but made his professional debut while on loan at Bournemouth in August 2008. Ward made the move to Crystal Palace, then in the Championship, in July 2012 for £400,000 and was part of the promotion-winning side that season. Ward has made over 100 Premier League appearances and played in the 2015/16 FA Cup Final, which Crystal Palace lost 2-1 to Manchester United.
