Jonathan Leko

Jonathan Leko is an England youth international who plays for . Born on 24th April 1999, in Kinshasa , DR Congo, he was granted asylum in the UK aged eight and joined West Brom as an 11-year-old. He worked his way up through the youth sides at the Premier League side and made a senior debut in a League Cup tie in September 2015, aged 16. A Premier League debut followed for the lightning-quick winger in April 2016 against Sunderland – making him the first player born in 1999 to appear in England’s top flight. Leko has been capped by England at junior level but he is still eligible to play for DR Congo at full international level.
