Jonathan Obika is an England youth international forward who plays for St. Mirren. Born on 12th September 1990, in Enfield, Obika joined nearby Tottenham Hotspur on youth terms in 2006 and quickly became tipped to make an impact for the first-team after impressive displays for the club’s development sides. The quick, powerful striker was handed a senior debut as a substitute in the UEFA Cup in November 2008 before heading out on a series of loan moves that would see him represent six different Football League clubs in five years – including three separate spells at Yeovil Town.
