Jonjo Shelvey

Jonjo Shelvey is an English midfielder, born on 27th February 1992, who plays for Newcastle United. Shelvey began his footballing life with Charlton Athletic, becoming the club’s youngest ever player when he made his debut in 2008. Having made a name for himself in the Championship, Shelvey moved to Liverpool in May 2010. He endured an indifferent spell with the club, with his discipline often frustrating fans and managers. Then, in 2013, he joined Swansea City and became a key player for the Welsh club. However, he only remained with them until January 2016, when he signed for Newcastle United. Shelvey represented England’s various youth teams before making his senior debut in October 2012.
