Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford is an English goalkeeper, born on March 7, 1994, who plays for Everton. Pickford joined Sunderland’s academy when he was eight, making his senior debut while on loan at Darlington in 2012. He spent further time away from the Stadium of Light on loan at Alfreton Town, Burton Albion, Carlisle United, Bradford City and Preston North End.

In January 2016, Pickford made his first-team debut for Sunderland and, after impressing despite the club’s relegation in 2016/17, he signed for Everton in a £30million deal which made him the most expensive British goalkeeper ever. Pickford made his England debut against Germany in November 2017 and was Three Lions’ No.1 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, earning hero status by helping Gareth Southgate’s side beat Colombia on penalties in the last-16.
