Jordan Veretout

Jordan Veretout is a French midfielder who plays for Roma and was born on 1st March 1993. His youth career began at Nantes in 2003 and he would spend 12 years at the club, playing over 100 times for Les Canaris. The central midfielder was a starting member of the France Under-20 side that won the 2013 World Cup. In 2015 he was bought by Aston Villa for £7 million, but as the Midlands club was relegated, the move was deemed a failure, even though he picked up more assists than anyone else in his team. In 2016 he was signed on loan by Saint-Etienne.
