Jordi Amat

Jordi Amat is a former Spanish U21 international central defender who currently plays for KAS Eupen. Born on 21st March 1992, in Catalonia, Amat joined Espanyol at the age of seven before making his senior debut for the ‘B’ side and first-team debut in at the age of 17 in January 2010. A loan move to La Liga rivals Rayo Vallecano followed in the 2012/13 season before a £2.5m transfer to Swansea City in July 2013. Amat has represented Spain at every age group from U16 to U21 level, which included being a member the squad that finished third at the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2009.
