Jorginho

Born in Imbituba in Brazil on December 20, 1991, midfielder Jorginho is a full Italian international. The deep-lying playmaker, who is noted for his passing and vision, elected to represent the Azzurri, rather than the country of his birth, and made his debut in March 2016 having represented Italy at under-21 level.

Jorginho moved to Europe in 2007 to join Hellas Verona and after impressing he joined Serie A giants Napoli in January 2014 in a co-ownership agreement which later saw him sign for the Partenopei on a full-time basis. Recognised as one of the most prolific passers of the ball in European football, Jorginho followed Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea in the summer of 2018. He won the UEFA Europa League and was an EFL Cup runner-up in his maiden season in England.
