Juan Sánchez Miño

Juan Sánchez Mino is an Argentine midfielder, born on the 1st January 1990, who plays for Independiente. Sánchez Mino started out at Boca Juniors, where he gained a reputation in the youth sides for adaptability, filling variously at left back, centre back, defensive midfield and even as a playmaker. He debuted for the first team as a left midfielder in 2010, and was an important squad player, eventually gaining a real foothold in the first eleven in the 2013-14 season. In August 2014, he was signed by Italian side Torino for US$4.2m, but moved to Estudiantes de La Plata on loan for the 2015 Argentine Primera season. He was subsequently loaned to Brazil’s Cruzeiro for the first half of 2016, before being bought by Independiente in July 2016 for US$1.4m. Sánchez Mino has two Argentina caps.
