Karim El Ahmadi

Karim El Ahmadi is a Dutch-born Moroccan defensive midfielder, born on 27th January 1985, who is the vice-captain of Al-Ittihad. El Ahmadi first made a name for himself at FC Twente, where he became a star player, before moving to De Kuip in 2008. Following four successful years, that were broken only by a six-month loan to Al Ahli, El Ahmadi moved to Aston Villa for just over £2m. The midfielder moved back to De Stadionclub in 2014 on a cut-price deal, and has been a regular starter ever since.
