Karim Rekik

Karim Rekik is a Dutch defender who currently plays for Hertha BSC. He was born on 2nd December 1994 and began his career at Scheveningen. After joining Feyenoord in 2001, he joined Manchester City after nine years at the Rotterdam club. At just 16 years old, he made his debut in the League Cup against Birmingham City. He would spend loan spells at Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and PSV Eindhoven. Rekik won the Eredivisie with PSV in 2015. That summer the centre-back would join Marseille in a permanent move. He made his international debut against France in a 2-0 defeat in 2014, but failed to make Louis van Gaal’s World Cup squad.
