Kasper Hamalainen is a Finland international midfielder who currently plays club football for . Born in Turku on 8th August 1986, Hamalainen began his career in his homeland with local side TPS Turku before moving over to Sweden’s Allsvenskan with Djurgardens IF in January 2010. Quickly establishing himself as a first-team regular during three years in Sweden, the tall goal-scoring attacking midfielder then embarked on a successful career in Polish football, firstly with Lech Poznan in January 2013. Having already won an Ekstraklasa league title in 2015, Hamalainen added another, plus a Polish Cup having transferred to Legia Warsaw in January 2016. Hamalainen made his international debut in November 2008 and won his 50th cap for Finland against Iceland in October 2016.
