Kenji Gorré

Kenji Gorre is a Dutch forward who currently plays for . He joined League One side Northampton Town on loan from Swansea City for the start of the 2016/17 season until January 2017. Born on 29th September 1994, he moved to England with his family aged four when his father Dean, also a footballer, moved to Huddersfield Town. Gorre (Jnr) joined the Manchester United academy as a schoolboy before trialling with Celtic in February 2013. The skilful winger failed to land a deal in Manchester or Glasgow but was signed for Swansea as a free agent in July of that year before returning to the Netherlands on loan in the Eredivisie with ADO Den Haag for six months. At youth level, Gorre was part of the Swans’ squad that won the 2015 U21 Professional Development League – scoring twice in the final 3-2 win over Huddersfield Town – and played in U21 Premier League Division Two play-offs against Aston Villa in April 2016. His senior debut came in a Premier League match against Crystal Palace in May 2015.
