Kevin van Veen

Born on 1st June 1991, in Eindhoven, Kevin van Veen is a Dutch forward who currently plays for Scunthorpe United. Known by fans more for the quality rather than quantity of his goals, van Veen started out as a junior at hometown club PSV, where he was once a room-mate of Dutch international Memphis Depay’s. He began his senior career in the second division with Helmond Sport in August 2010, but had to take a sabbatical from the game because of personal reasons. In July 2014 he signed for FC Oss, also in the Jupiler League, and was back with a bang as he scored 16 goals in 20 league appearances. Scunthorpe United took the player on a three-and-a-half year contract in January 2015, but he again moved back to the Netherlands on loan with Eredivisie side towards the end of the 2015/16 season.
