Kieron Freeman

Kieron Freeman is a former Welsh U21 international defender who currently plays for Sheffield United. Born on 21st March 1992, in Nottinghamshire, Freeman joined Nottingham Forest as a junior, making his senior debut in a League Cup tie in August 2011. The right-sided versatile defender, utilised predominantly as a full-back, would base his early career around the East Midlands with spells at Mansfield Town, Notts County and Derby County, before branching out to Sheffield United, initially on loan towards the end of the 2013/14 season. He made the deal with the Blades permanent in January 2015, helping the club to reach the League One play-offs that season, before a loan spells at Portsmouth during the 2015/16 season.
