Kyriakos Papadopoulos

Kyriakos Papadopoulos, born 23 February 1992, is a Greek footballer who plays as a centre back for Hamburger SV (on loan from Bayer Leverkusen) and the Greek national team. He started his career with Olympiacos in 2007 before a €1.7 million move to Bundeliga side Schalke 04 in 2010. He joined rivals Bayer Leverkusen on a season long loan in 2014 which was made permanent in a deal worth €6.5 million in 2015. Injuries disrupted his season and he joined RB Leipzig in August 2016 on a season long loan deal.
