Leandro Grimi

Leandro Grimi is an Argentine left back, born on the 9th February 1985, who plays for Huracán. Grimi debuted in 2004 for Huracán at the age of 18, and joined Racing in January 2006. In January 2007, he was bought by Italian giants AC Milan for US$3.25m, but after struggling for playing time he was loaned out, first to Siena, then to Portuguese side Sporting, joining the latter on a permanent basis in July 2008 for US$4m. In August 2011 Grimi signed for Belgian club Genk, staying for one year before rescinding his contract and returning to Argentina in August 2012, when he joined Godoy Cruz. In July 2014 he returned to Racing, with whom he won the Primera División later that year.
