Leroy Fer

Leroy Fer is a Dutch international who plays for Feyenoord. Born in Zoetermeer, Netherlands on January 5. 1990, Fer started his football career playing for local club DWO and, aged nine, he joined Feyenoord’s academy. He broke through to the first team in 2007/08. After more than 100 appearances for the Dutch side, Fer joined fellow Eredivisie team Twente. After two years with Twente, Norwich City signed Fer for a reported £4.4million. However, at the end of the 2013/14 season, following the Canaries relegation from the Premier League, the Dutchman joined Queens Park Rangers and spent two years with the Hoops before joining Swansea City on loan in 2016. Swansea City then signed Fer on a permanent deal in July 2015.
