Lloyd Sam

Lloyd Sam is a Ghanaian winger who was born on September 27 1984 and plays for The Miami FC. After growing up in their youth academy, Sam signed his first professional deal with Charlton Athletic in 2003. Before leaving for Leeds United in 2010, he had loan spells with Leyton Orient, Sheffield Wednesday and Southend United. He’d stay at Leeds United until 2012, when he was loaned out to Notts County. In 2012, Sam joined the New York Red Bulls, where he won two MLS Supporters Shields. Four years later, Sam was traded to D.C United.
