Loïc Remy

Loic Remy is a French striker who plays for Lille. Born on 2nd January 1987, the Frenchman begun his career with ASPTT Lyon before Olympique Lyonnais scouted him and he trained at their academy alongside Karim Benzema and Hatem Ben Arfa. In October 2006, Remy signed his first professional contract with club. After two years at Lyon, Remy moved to Nice and spent another two years there before transferring again, to Marseille. The Frenchman spent two and a half years at Marseille before a move in the winter of 2013 to Queen’s Park Rangers. Remy was then loaned to Newcastle United for the 2013-14 campaign, where he scored regularly and earned a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2014. The striker made his France debut in 2009 and was a member of the French squad for the 2014 World Cup.
