Lucas Hoyos

Lucas Hoyos is an Argentine goalkeeper, born on the 29th April 1989, who plays for Vélez Sarsfield. He started out at Newell’s Old Boys, but made his professional debut while on loan at San Martin de Tucumán in the Argentine lower divisions in 2011. He was later loaned to Gimnasia de Jujuy for two years before eventually playing his first game for Newell’s in 2014. He only made two appearances for the Rosario club before going on a free transfer to B Nacional (second division) side Instituto de Córdoba in 2015, and from there to Primera División side Atlético de Rafaela in July 2016.
