Luciano Lollo

Luciano Lollo is an Argentine centre back, born on the 29th March 1987, who plays for Banfield. Lollo played youth football for several local teams before being spotted by Córdoba side Belgrano, where he made his professional debut in the second division in 2007. He became crucial to the team, and was part of the Belgrano side who later won promotion in the same playoff tie that saw giants River Plate relegated in 2011. In 2014 he was loaned to Racing – with whom he won the 2014 transitional championship – who later bought him for US$500,000, selling him six months later to River, who paid US$3.5m in spite of him being injured at the time.
