Luciano Neves

Luciano da Rocha Neves, or Luciano, is a Brazilian forward who plays for Grêmio on loan from Brazilian side Corinthians. Born 18th May 1993, Luciano rose to stardom in Brazil after making his first appearance of the bench and scoring in a 3-1 win for Atletico Goianiense. With Goianiense failing to stay up he joined Brazilian Serie B side Avai for a season then went to one of Brazil’s top clubs Corinthians. He featured heavily for them before suffering a serious knee injury in August 2015 in a match against Santos. The following August, saw him move to Leganes on a loan move with an option to buy him at the end of his loan move. Luciano has also played for Brazil at U23 level and won a bronze medal in the Pan American Games. Luciano was also top scorer of the competition netting five in four games.
