Luke Norris

Born on 3rd June 1993, Luke Norris is an English striker who plays for Colchester United. Originally from Stevenage, Norris was asked to make the short hop across the A1(M) to join Non-League side Hitchin Town before joining the youth set-up at Brentford in 2010. A tall archetypal No.9 centre-forward with a powerful shot from long range, Norris quickly attracted the interest of other clubs, and Brentford allowed him to join Northampton Town and Dagenham & Redbridge on loan before a permanent move to Gillingham came after making just a handful of first-team appearances in West London. During two years in Kent, Norris scored 14 goals in 70 league matches, before Swindon Town paid £150,000 for the youngster in August 2016.
