Marcin Wasilewski

Marcin Wasilewski is a Polish defender, born on 9th June 1980, who plays for Wisla Kraków. Wasilewski began his career playing in Poland, having spells with Hutnik Krakow, Slask Wroclaw and Wisla Plock. Brief spells with Amica Wronki and Lech Poznan followed, before Wasilewski joined Anderlecht in January 2007. He played primarily as a right-back for the Belgian club and, aside for some time out with a horrible leg injury, the Pole was a regular. Once he had left the Belgian club, the defender joined Leicester City in September 2013, initially on a one-year contract. Wasilewski made his senior debut for Poland in 2002 and was part of the Poland squads for the 2008 and 2012 European Championships.
