Marko Grujic

Marko Grujic is a Serbian midfielder, born on 13th April 1996, who plays for Hertha BSC. Grujic began his career with Red Star Belgrade, where he was a standout player throughout their academy, which saw him make his first team debut in May 2013. A brief loan spell with Kolubara followed, before he returned to Red Star and became a part of a very successful side. Amid interest from many big European clubs, Grujic signed for Liverpool in January 2016 for around £5 million. The midfielder remained at Red Star on loan for the rest of the 2015-16 campaign, winning another SuperLiga title in the process. Having represented Serbia throughout youth football, Grujic made his full international debut in May 2016.
