Martin Paterson

Martin Paterson is a Northern Ireland international striker who plays for . Born on 10th May 1987, in Staffordshire, Paterson qualified for Northern Ireland through his father – and made his international debut in November 2007. The experienced, fast forward spent one season in the Premier League following a £1m move to Burnley and has also featured in the MLS with Orlando City. He started out with nearby Stoke City, and made his senior debut as a teenager in the Championship in April 2005, but spent the majority of his career at Burnley for whom he would play more than 150 times and score 37 goals – and was part of the 2009 Championship play-off winning side. Having spent the 2015/16 season at Blackpool, he moved to Port Vale in August 2016 as a free agent.
