Marvin Martin

Marvin Martin is a French midfielder who currently plays for Chambly and was born on 10th January 1988. He was once dubbed “the New Zidane” after scoring twice on his debut for France in 2011. Born in Paris he would join Sochaux’s youth academy in 2002, making his debut six years later in a 2-1 defeat to Marseille. During the 2010/11 campaign he led Ligue 1 in assists with 17, helping Les Lionceaux finish fifth. In 2012 he joined Lille for €9 million, but could injuries stopped him repeating that form. From 2014 to 2016 he only managed 18 appearances. He would join Dijon on loan at the start of the 2016/17 campaign.
