Mat Ryan

Matthew Ryan popularly known as Maty, is a Australian goalkeeper who plays for Brighton and Hove Albion. Born on 8th April 1992, Ryan spent his youth career at Blacktown City and Central Coast Mariners before making his senior debut with Blacktown City in 2009. After spending one season with the team, Ryan returned to Central Coast Mariners in 2010, completing 80 appearances during his three years at the club. On 30 May 2013, Ryan had completed a move to Belgian side Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee. In July 2013, Ryan made his debut for Club Brugge in the first game of the season, in a 2-0 victory versus Sporting Charleroi. On 26 November 2014, it was announced that Ryan had agreed to terms with Club Brugge, extending his contract until 2018. In the summer of 2015, Ryan signed a six-year deal with La Liga side Valencia CF. On 22 August 2015, Ryan made his La Liga debut in the first game of the season, against Rayo Vallecano as the game ended in a 0-0 draw. In December 2012, Ryan made his official debut for Australia in an East Asian Cup qualifier against North Korea.
