Mathieu Bodmer

Mathieu Bodmer is a French midfielder who currently plays for Amiens. He was born on 22nd November 1982 and began his career at local side, Evreux FC. He spent five years at Normandy before signing for Lille in 2003. Establishing himself as an excellent passer and attacking midfielder, he played over 100 games for Lille before moving to Lyon in 2007. It was at OL where he was first used as a centre-back, a position he would play throughout the next few years of his career. Bodmer would join Paris Saint-Germain in 2010, his versatility coming is useful for the capital club, but the arrival of Qatari money reduced his opportunities. A loan move to Saint-Etienne followed before joining Nice permanently in 2013. After two years he would be named the club captain and he serves as the president of Evreux FC, his first club.
