Matías Caruzzo

Matias Caruzzo is an Argentine centre back who is currently playing for Argentinos Juniors. Born on the 15th August 1984, he made his debut in 2006 for Argentinos Juniors, a club he would later captain during the 2010 Clausura-winning campaign. In July 2010 he moved to Boca Juniors for US$2.5m, and initially impressed, although he was only a squad player by the time Boca won the 2011 Apertura. After winning the 2012 Copa Argentina with Boca, Caruzzo signed on a free transfer for Universidad de Chile in January 2014, and six months later moved back to Argentinos Juniors, also on a free. In January 2015, he again moved clubs on a free transfer, signing for San Lorenzo.
