Matías Pérez

Matias Perez Garcia is an Argentine attacking midfielder who was born on October 13 1984 and plays for Gimnasia La Plata. Garcia began his career in Argentina with Lanus, where he stayed from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, the midfielder joined Argentine outfit Talleres, scoring 12 goals in 39 appearances. Following his season there, he was sold to C.A Cerro in 2007. Over the course of his two-year spell there, he was loaned out to Atlanta and Chamois. In 2009, Garcia joined All Boys, where he made 51 appearances and scored five goals. Before joining Major League Soccer, Garcia bounced from club to club including Universidad de Chile and Tigre. In 2014, Garcia signed for the San Jose Earthquakes. However, he was traded in 2016 to Orlando City for Darwin Ceren.
