Michael Rensing

Michael Rensing is a German footballer who currently plays for Fortuna Düsseldorf as a goalkeeper. Rensing started off his career as a prospect of Bayern Munich’s academy, he impressed in the academy and reserve sides and soon moved up the pecking order in the first team. After being proclaimed as Oliver Kahn’s “deputy”, he made transitioning appearances for both first team and reserve teams until his departure in 2010. Since then, he has briefly played for FC Köln and Bayer Leverkusen.
