Morgan Amalfitano

Morgan Amalfitano is a French midfielder who plays for . He was born on 20th March 1985 and is the brother of former Newcastle United midfielder Romain and son of Roger Amalfitano who played in the second division. His career began at AS Cannes in 2002 and he would sign from CS Sedan for FC Lorient in 2008. In three seasons, armed with a dangerous left-foot, he scored 14 goals from the flank. That earned him a move to Marseille, but he would fall out of favour and was allowed to move to West Ham United. When Sam Allardyce left the Hammers, Amalfitano was allowed to leave the club. He signed for Lille in January of 2016. In 2012 he made his France debut against Germany, playing 22 minutes.
