Nathan Redmond

Nathan Redmond is an England U21 international forward who currently plays for Southampton. Born on 6th March 1994, he joined Birmingham City’s youth set-up aged eight before making his professional debut for the Blues in August 2010 as a 16-year-old. He would feature in the UEFA Europa League during the 2011/12 season, which included a goal against Portuguese club Nacional, before helping City to a Championship play-off semi-final against Blackpool. In July 2013 he moved to Norwich City for £3.2m and after relegation in his first season, he scored the second goal in a Championship play-off final 2-0 win the following season. In June 2016 Southampton paid £10m for the exciting winger, who would score on his debut against Watford in August 2016. Redmond has featured over 30 times for the England U21 side – including appearances at the 2013 and 2015 UEFA U21 European Championships in 2015.
