Nereo Champagne

Nereo Champagne is an Argentine goalkeeper, born on the 20th January 1985, who plays for Real Oviedo. He won the Under-20 World Cup as Argentina’s second choice goalkeeper in 2005, before making his first team debut for San Lorenzo in 2007. In June 2010, he went on loan to B Nacional (second division) side Ferro Carril Oeste, gaining regular first team football, and returned to San Lorenzo for the 2011-12 season, winning the first choice goalkeeper role in the second half of the season. In July 2012, he joined Olimpo on a free transfer.
