Nicolás Aguirre

Nicolás Aguirre is an Argentine midfielder, born on the 27th June 1990, who plays for Atlético Tucumán. Hailing from Santa Fe province, Aguirre moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 15 to join the youth system at Arsenal de Sarandi, debuting for the first team in 2008. After a loan spell at Atlético de Rafaela in early 2010, Aguirre returned to Arsenal more experienced and became an important first team player in a side which won the Argentine league in 2012 and the Copa Argentina in 2013. In February 2015, he moved to Lanús for US$1m, where he would win another league title in 2016.
