Nicolás Navarro

Nicolás Navarro is an Argentine goalkeeper, born on the 25th March 1985, who is currently playing for . His competitive debut came in 2007 for Argentinos, before signing for Italian side Napoli in January 2008 for a fee of US$6.6m, becoming Napoli’s first ever non-Italian goalkeeper. After spending 2009-10 on loan at Argentine giants River Plate, he rescinded his Napoli contract in order to return to Argentinos on a free transfer. In July 2011 he tried his luck abroad again, signing for Kayserispor of Turkey for US$1.25m, but was soon back in Argentina, signing for Tigre on a free transfer in July 2013. A loan spell with Gimnasia followed in 2015 before he joined San Lorenzo on a free transfer in January 2016. Navarro was part of the Argentina squad which won the gold medal t the 2008 Olympic football tournament.
