Obbi Oularé

Obbi Oulare is a Belgium U21 international who plays for Standard Liège. The fast, skilful forward, who can play as a central striker or as a wide forward, signed for Belgian side SV Zulte Waregem on a season-long loan deal for the 2016/17 campaign. Having progressed from the youth academy at Ligue 1 club Lille, Oulare joined the Club Brugge U21 squad in July 2013. His breakthrough year came in 2014/15 when he made his Belgian Pro League debut against KRC Genk in September 2014; featured in Brugge’s run to the UEFA Europa League quarter-final; and played in the 2015 Beker van Belgie (Belgian Cup) 2-1 victory over RSC Anderlecht. Watford paid £6m for the rising star in September 2015 – making his debut against Newcastle United in an FA Cup third round tie in January 2016. Oulare has represented Belgium’s national youth sides up to U21 level.
