Oliver Banks

Oliver ‘Ollie’ Banks is an English midfielder who plays for Tranmere Rovers. Born on 21st September 1992, in Rotherham, the attacking midfielder joined hometown club Rotherham United as a junior before making a scoring senior debut for the club in a League Two fixture in May 2011. He continued to learn the game in Non-League football followed over the next three years, including spells at North Ferriby United and FC United of Manchester, before signing for Chesterfield in September 2013. During 99 appearances he helped the Spireites reach Wembley in the 2014 EFL Trophy final and the League Two play-off semi-finals the following year. He left the club by mutual consent in July 2016 and signed Oldham Athletic on a free transfer.
