Oliver Lancashire

Born on 26th August 1988, Oliver ‘Olly’ Lancashire is an English centre-half who currently plays for Crewe Alexandra. Originally from Basingstoke, the young defender joined Southampton’s youth set-up and signed a two-year contract with the club in January 2008. He was sent off just half an hour into his first-team debut for the Saints in September 2008, however things improved from that inauspicious start as he went on to make more than 200 appearances across tiers two to four of English football – the highlight being captaining Rochdale to promotion from League Two in 2015/16.
