Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud is a French central striker who plays for Chelsea. Born in September 1986, Giroud began his career with Grenoble before joining Tours in the French Ligue 2. Top scoring in the French second flight, Giroud was rewarded with a move to Montpellier. In 2011-12, Giroud led Montpellier to the club’s first ever league title and finished as the joint-second-highest scorer in Ligue 1. On 26th June 2012, Giroud completed a transfer to Arsenal after the Gunners had sold Robin van Persie to Manchester United.
