Oumar Niasse

Oumar Niasse is a Senegalese international forward who was born in Oukam on April 18, 1990. Niasse arrived in European football on loan from Senegal side US Ouakam at Norwegian club Brann. The powerful forward, who can play as a striker or out wide, made a permanent move to Turkish Süper Lig side Akhisarspor in August 2013. A tally of 12 goals in 34 league matches paved the way to a £3.5million transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League.

Niasse was Roberto Martínez’s last signing as Everton manager, costing £13.5million during the 2016 winter transfer window. At the start of the 2016/17 season was ordered to train with the Toffees’ development side by new boss Ronald Koeman. In January 2019, Niasse joined Premier League side Cardiff City on loan for the remainder of the season.
