Pablo Zabaleta

Pablo Zabaleta is an Argentine defender, born on 16th January 1985, who plays for West Ham United. Starting his career in 2002, Zabaleta began with San Lorenzo before transferring to Espanyol in 2005. In the 2005-06 season, Zabaleta featured heavily as his side won the Copa Del Rey. After impressing in Spain, Zabaleta attracted attention from around Europe and joined Manchester City in August 2008, having turned down Juventus. The Argentine went on to make over 200 appearances for Manchester City, including winning Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014. Zabaleta was a regular in the Argentinean national youth sides and made his debut for the senior team in 2005.
