Paul Green

Paul Green is a Republic of Ireland international midfielder who plays for Crewe Alexandra. Born on 10th April 1983, Green started out as a junior at Sheffield Wednesday before joining Doncaster Rovers – making his senior debut in March 2002. The attacking midfielder’s time with the Millers continued on an upward trajectory as he made more than 250 appearances during the club’s run from Non-League football to the Championship in six years. From there he joined Derby County, Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Rotherham United – making more than 200 appearances in the Championship along the way. Green made his international debut in May 2010, and was part of the Republic of Ireland squad at UEFA Euro 2012, appearing as a substitute against Spain.
