Radoslaw Pruchnik

Radoslaw Pruchnik is a Polish defender/midfielder who plays for Gornik Leczna. Born in Warsaw on 11th October 1986, Pruchnik moved east to west with Amica Wronki and Lech Poznan, and then slap bang in the middle of Poland with Tur Turek, with whom he made his professional debut in 1 Liga in March 2008. Having gained a reputation as a no-nonsense ball-winner – used predominantly as a defensive midfield screen – he was an integral part of Flota Swinoujscie and Arka Gdynia sides that narrowly missed out on promotion from 1 Liga in 2011 and 2013 and 2014, respectively – he also captained Arka during their run to the 2013/14 Polish Cup semi-final. He did make the step up to the Ekstraklasa with a free transfer to Gornik Leczna at the start of the 2014/15 season.
