Rémy Cabella

Rémy Cabella is a French midfielder who plays for FK Krasnodar and was born on 8th March 1990. Adept as an attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wings joined the Montpellier academy when he was just 14. He won the 2009 Coupe Gambardella, but then missed out on his senior season with a cruciate knee injury. A loan spell at Arles-Avignon followed in 2010, he scored three goals in 17 games and returned to help Montpellier win the 2011/12 Ligue 1 title. An €8 million move took the playmaker to Newcastle United in 2014, but he failed to settle and find his feet. He would return to France in 2015 as part of the deal that took Florian Thauvin to the North East. That deal was made permanent in 2016.
