Ross Barkley

Ross Barkley is an England international midfielder who plays for Chelsea. Born on December 5, 1993, in Liverpool, Barkley joined Everton at 11. The skilful attacking midfielder has represented England from under-16 to senior level, making his Three Lions debut in a World Cup qualifying 4-0 win in Moldova in September 2013.

Barkley featured in all three group games at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and was named in the final 23-man squad for UEFA Euro 2016. Following almost a year out with a leg break, Barkley made his senior Everton debut in August 2012 and went out on short loan spells to Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United during that season. He played over 100 times for Everton, including appearances in the UEFA Europa League, and won the club’s Young Player of the Season award in 2013 and 2014 before moving to Chelsea in 2018
