Ryan Flynn

Ryan Flynn is Scottish forward who currently plays for St. Mirren. Born on 4th September 1988, in Edinburgh, Flynn joined Falkirk on junior terms before being picked up by the Liverpool academy in 2005 – where he would become a FA Youth Cup winner in 2006 and 2007. He moved on from Anfield without having made a senior appearance but made his way in Scottish football with Falkirk before a return to England with Sheffield United in July 2011. During five seasons and 195 appearances for the Blades, the fast, skilful winger Fynn helped the club reach the League One play-offs on three occasions – although the closest he came to promotion was a penalty shoot-out defeat in the 2012 final. He signed for Oldham as a free agent in July 2016 on a two-year contract.
